This is my favorite game of all time.

Homunculus and the Cat. - Just a typical kitten saves the afterlife story, disguised as a book about death. In a world where every culture's mythology is real, Medusa's sisters want revenge on Poseidon, Troy is under siege again, and the Yakuza want their homunculi (mythological artificial humans) back. Near Atlantis' Chinatown, a kitten and her human campaign for homunculi rights. Against them are Japanese death gods, an underworld cult, and a fat Atlantean bureaucrat. The main character dies (more than once) and a few underworlds' way of death is threatened. Also with giant armored battle squids.

i remember playing this game a long time ago, when i sucked even more and died constantly even vs rats and crabs -_-
i'd hope bethesda worked on a redux version or this or at least revisit morrowind in an upcoming game :3

I think all TES players feel like their 1st TES game was the best, so depends which one you started playing. Morrowind is when the fanbase grew massively.

Daggerfall and the 1st TES are free, you can always replay those. I tried giving it a go, but got distracted by other games at that time. :p

havent played arena at all, but i did make it out of the first dungeon so thats an accomplishment right there... im not sure if i got the hang of the overworld though

Oh, God! I still remember how much time I waited to buy this game when it came out, but damn, mate, it was worth it! Great game and I find it to be the best of the TES series!

Morrowind is easily the best of the Elder Scroll games as far as I am concerned. The musical score really holds the whole thing together as well, absolutely brilliant.
