I think my favorite would be role-playing games, specifically those involving adventuring and storylines. I have always enjoyed games that emulate the famed Dungeons & Dragons tabletop games. I am still waiting for a complex game that encompasses everything the D&D legacy included, but until then I'll just have to enjoy the great RPG's currently on the market.
