I'm curious where you get your keys from that Canada is restricted but the US isn't?

Region locked keys are welcome per the rules! Do not let that stop you from contributing to community trains! Thank you for sharing!
I think the issue here is that this guy appears to be making region restrictions just for the sake of it. I’ve never seen so many restrictions on most of these games.
