Than me? Than you yourself!

small spelling errol
It should have been "Tank you", expression associated with driving a tank over copy-paste thank you's and dumb politicians.

Hehe. As long as someone says just enough to let me know they're not a bot, I don't really care.
I never copy and paste my thank you messages... but when you enter so many giveaways (sometimes hundreds a day, depending on how many points each game costs and the amount of giveaways being made and thus points generated), I do repeat myself quite often. There are only so many ways to show gratitude to a complete stranger without sounding either silly or phony.
The verbosity and uniqueness of my thanks tend to be in direct proportion to that of the giveaway description. ^_- Want an interesting response, give an interesting topic.
When they're the hundredth giveaway you've entered that day and they say nothing in their description, they can hardly complain about an equally generic thank you.
I get a chance to maybe win the game (1 in 1114, in this case), they get a higher contributor value, and it all works out; they aren't getting nothing out of it. Of course, it never hurts to be polite, one should always say something if they win, but not everyone gets a personalized novella. ^_^
Thank you very much, lordhellfire.
