I think The whole movie was dumb. The Covenant crew decisions in the whole movie was stupid. Even all the xenomorph-s"kind" was funny!
They don't even know what to do they followed David into that building because he said follow me XD and he shoot a flare into the sky? OMG so dumb....The director Ridley Scot dont even know what to shoot a drama or a horror movie. Prometheus was new even if the story was wierd. But the acting was great! In this movie both was horrible. Last I already know where this next alien movie wanna go. Just look at the ending screen when David going into the storage room where all the "humans" stored and puting those 2 things(forgot the name) into the freezer. David in the next movie probably continuing his experiment till they reach that planet where they originaly headed(fogot the name :D).
And he will capable to create an Alien queen (thats why he need a female - Daniels) When they isolated the alien in covenant in the end of the movie and dropped out to the space look David's face when he realised maybe Daniels is dead cuz she sacreficed herself.
Finally if you see my picture above you will reallise a Xenoporph is half cyber(see the tubes on his face and "cyber" robot parts) half "human" so David is somehow capable to mix his dna and the aliens dna together to create the real alien! Which we saw alien 1
Maybe they will rebooting the whole franchise cuz I heard that rumor.
Yes, you´re probably right but you don´t need to spoil the whole thing cause you´re mad about the franchise. Not everybody knows about how the Xenomorph works. The only thing I regret was watching the Fox trailers from this one and Prometheus. They give you too much information. For Covenant I only saw one and they were key moments there. For Prometheus It was worst cause I saw 2 trailers and I regret that cause It killed the whole mistery for me. I don´t know what they think when they promote the movies with these trailers, they just want to bring people in, but they´re terrible for the people who likes the saga. I´m never gonna watch an Alien trailer again.
It is always funny to see homegrown "experts" that know how to act and what to do in every situation, because surely it is so easy to make decisions and correct judgments while resting your fat ass on a comfy sofa in the safety of your home, watching entire thing happening on screen, why would it be any different for actual movie characters, right? WRONG! Allow me to make a revelation for you homeboy, when you end up in a completely unknown place in unknown world with some completely alien thing slaughtering your team left and right while your only means to escape that place had just blown up, you WILL follow anyone, who just managed to save your ass from certain death, and leave all questions for later. The only dumb things are people making critiques like yours.
Ridley Scott made a great movie, the only thing he might have missed is that mainstream crowd would be too dumb to understand the context of it, and what is important and what not, hence all the negative reviews and critique. I just hope he has the balls to continue shooting a masterpiece and not cave in into attempt of appeasing to general crowd by dumbing down the next Alien movie.

I watched the movie today. Well, I wouldn´t say It´s bad, more like unexpected. That small xenomorph raising It´s hands was really dumb tho.
