There is Doom (2016) and Doom (1991). Doom 64 is very old I guess. Imagine how slow the computers must have been back then!

I played this game for the first time earlier this year and that level was hell, I ended up having to look up a video of how to beat that final boss and the answer ended up being cheesing it to death by barely hiding behind a chest-height wall and exploiting the enemies' missiles' pathfinding while unloading the big demonic-looking laser gun on it. The way they implemented that same boss in the extra campaign is so much more fun because the arena isn't just a big circle where getting hit by everything is nearly unavoidable.
