I'm playing it at the moment.... I have to say it's not very impressive.
I love the franchise, but the game is lacking, and I feel the time loop doesn't help things.
The "lane-based" real-time dungeons aren't exactly fun, I feel they should have done something more akin to the real-time dungeons like in NepU. Grinding dungeons for some of the side-quests, and a lot of the sidequests not being enjoyable.
The fast-travel is painful early on, because you have to "buy" spells to do this, and you're heavily limited, and i think this wasn't very well thought out either, making early game seem too much like a chore. Again, some of this has to do with the timeloop element, but everything doesn't mesh well, and with the main story sometimes feeling like a sidequest also, I find it hard to recommend, even to die-hard fans of the anime (and I kinda consider myself to be one of them, hence why I'm still playing it). Sorry I couldn't get ya excited about it.
