Hint: Recipes are yellow manuscript pages with a purple glow around them. Picking any of them will grant you an achievement (if it's the first recipe unlocked) and will unlock the recipe page in your goblin cookbook which you can find in MENU > Legend > Recipes. Bean soup is always unlocked by default.
