Description

Otome is a genre of Japanese dating simulator that targets teenaged girls. Typically there are at least three possible love interests and possibly two endings for each love interest. The player's love interest is decided on the actions chosen by the player.

!! Please if you're going to enter, please make sure this is a game you are interested in playing. I am tired of giving games away to people who own a thousand games with an upward of two thousand and they clearly play only a small percentage of their games!!

Amnesia™: Memories is the first otome I ever bought and I am damn happy that I bought it.
Pros:

  • great visuals
  • long and complex stories
  • has an affection meter to show your progress
  • nice background music
  • cute and loveable (for the most part) characters
  • full and detailed guide on Steam if you don't wish to do trial and error for certain choices and prefer playing on the safe side
  • more than 20 endings
  • 5 guys to choose from
  • gallery with dialogue
  • two minigames with different difficulties

Cons:

  • the main character has no personality, at all. But this is the case with most otomes anyway, since a "blank slate" character is used so that the player can interpret the stories and situations as themselves rather than be influenced by the main character's personality to choose certain actions
  • some parts are boring or terribly cringy because of the main character
  • one character's story is kinda f*cked up, even if it was the "good" ending
  • trigger warning: there is some forms of abuse and stalking

Order I suggest you play in:
Shin > Ikki > Kent > Toma > Ukyo

ABOUT THIS GAME:
"In this visual novel, you'll play as the Heroine whose life depends on hiding your recent loss of memory while you navigate complex relationships with five men. Choose your romantic path from the start to piece together that which was forgotten. Will you write the lasting love story you deserve, or will your love – and life – come to an end?
Key Features

  1. Select one of five guys as your love interest, each with multiple branching story paths. Each choice creates a distinct world where characters assume different roles, allowing for 20+ endings!"
  2. Parameters affect your relationship with your future love. Keep track of your relationship here and make sure you’re not headed to a bad ending!
  3. Play mini-games like Rock, Paper, Scissors and Air Hockey against other characters.
  4. Unlock voiced images in the Gallery. Touching certain areas of the image will play dialogue of feelings that couldn’t be previously expressed."

Well, uh, I have upwards of 3300, but I've also tried out over 90% of them and have 100% achievements in 140, with 24% completion across all games. And I do enjoy a lot of visual novels regardless of the subject matter - the East Tower games are already on my short list of games to go back and finish. Your call, I guess? I'll remove my entry if 3300 games and ~300 untouched is too much for you

Similarly to GauRocks, i have ~1500 games but i play as much as i can, have an 37% completion rate and try to give most genres a try, as i watched the anime of this i think its most probably that i enjoy it.

You're 100% fine to joinin that case. I'll tell you that the game > anime. I pkayed the game before the anime and found that I regret doing it in that order.

From scraps of the game that I saw, anime can't even rival with the game imo.

No offense but doing a level 0 GA has a higher chance of bots entering than anything else and most people won't care about playing them, if you want people to play the games you give away there are groups just for that

For future reference, it's probably best to use Playing Appreciated for the games where you really care about them getting played by the winner.
