Mount & Blade, for sure. That's a game I even spent countless hours playing the -demo-, before finally purchasing it. I love going around and slowly conquering Calradia. But when that gets tiring, there are a ton of great mods to change things up (including a surprisingly large number of total conversions). My favorite of those being based on The Lord Of The Rings, called "The Last Days".

I have had Never Alone on my wishlist for the longest time now, maybe I'll consider it again (ノ_<)

Project Zomboid and Xcom Enemy Unknown are tied. Both are incredible and addicting games where I lose too many people that i get attached to.

Hmm. Judging from sheer number of hours, I could probably say Terraria. It's a good, fun game with lots of stuff to do. It can be a bit brutal early on, especially on Expert mode.
Dark Souls, Dishonored, Don't Starve, Just Cause 2, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Metal Gear Solid V (Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain), System Shock 2, Thief, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Antichamber, The Stanley Parable, Metro 2033, and Stalker Clear Sky are all pretty awesome too. Then there's my CD install of Deus Ex which is utterly fantastic...

That's a lot of games! I have been wanting to get Dark Souls, maybe I will if it comes on sale!

Those are just the Steam games. ;)
Yes, Dark Souls is FANTASTIC. It requires several fixes to get it running properly, but once it is you get to enjoy a pretty awesome world.

Civiliation V or Endless Space. Since I don't always have as much time available to play the action/adventure games that I prefer, 4X games have been able to fill the void with some turn-based gameplay I can easily start, leave, and get back into without losing a beat.

Cheers, Snowwfox! :D
I don't like to use the word favorite, but I've been spending a lot of time in Insurgency lately.

Killing Floor 1/2 I play them with my wife, we enjoy coop games
Don't starve/together. With coop is even better.
For single player it's quite hard to just pick one... The witcher, Hitman, Tomb Raider, Bioshock....

Agreed. Very good games :)

I'm going to say This War of Mine, because not only does it make me look like an intellectual, but also because I find it very relaxing, and I always end up with a bad case of "just one more turn" when I play it.

My favorite game is Talisman DE, it's a board game and very addictive!

TF2 - because the involved economy enabled me to get games really cheap, at least as long as trading with Russian users was still a thing.
It's also fun for casual players.
Favorites for intense playing are Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2, because I like both RPG and FPS games and the BL games also have an awesome story.

Fallout 2, obviously. Why? It's not Fallout 3.

Favourites are hard to decide on - if you ask me later I'll probably have a different answer, but for now I'll say Terraria because it really sucked me in.
And by "really sucked me in" I mean that I literally got pulled into the game. The Eye of Cthulu is watching me right now. Please help.

Hard choice to make, I would say BL1, I bought it one week after Fallout 3 and I completely forgot Fallout 3 I may return to it for Fallout 4 so I guess it's a nice sign :)
Dishonored and Dark Messiah will be ex aequo second choice: French dev, nice sword move, good physic, great story ;)

I don't really have just one favorite, and I play and love games of all types. KSP, Space Engineers, Dirt Rally, and iRacing are among my favorites, along with a whole lot of other games (with many of them being RPGs),
I just really enjoy games that have a lot of depth, offer a real challenge, get me thinking, and/or allow me to use my imagination and do things my own way.

Lots of games I really like - Words for Evil, Weird Worlds, FTL... Currently my fave would be a tossup between Bastion and Remember Me. Neither are perfect, but both create interesting worlds with an interesting story to follow and both make you question your choices in ways not many other games do.
