i've been going back to idle it a lot lately for the drops to sell off - if you're lucky to get a newly released case from idling you can sell it for a tidy sum ;) been selling a few here and there and picking up some other cheap stuff - can help you save a little bit of money :P
Aha, I would feel silly playing a team game just for the chance of free money from random drops... I assume the rest of the team would expect me to be shooting people or rescuing the hostages or defusing the bomb or whatever else you do in counter-strike... :) Unless there are idle servers where you don't have to play and can just sit around... :)

I love demons souls and dark souls, and liked DS2 as well. But you're right, some veterans didn't like or got bored of DS2 fast. I like the pvp mechanics and matchmaking system much more in this one. But the atmosphere and level design of the previous games were better I guess. Miyazaki was busy with Bloodborne and let another team do the work for DS2 afterall.
I didn't know it at the time of course, but looking back now, the "B team" idea makes a lot of sense... :) I think a mediocre Dark Souls game is still better than many good something elses, but it could have been so much more...
Hmm, like if I saw a great puzzle idea somewhere, and tried to make a copy of my own. All the good bits would be where I copied well, and all the bad bits would be where I had to use my own ideas. :)
Yes, it could have been more, much more. But in the end it did good. in my humble opinion while Bloodborne is an awesome game, it didn't offer me much after finishing story and chalice dungeons, because Miazaki tried some new ideas that didn't work out well (especially the new matchmaking system) and I'm afraid it'll collect dust in the future, while I still can go for DS2 just for having duels. sigh.. Hope Miyazaki does DS3 and combines what's good in DS2 and Bloodborne.
