there are other very good ones (and cheaper) made woth other coffee types. The one above is one sold at "delicatessen" shops as its made with blue-jamaican coffee (And is the only one I found in english).
There are a lot of them and variations form other countries/regions. I like the ones made with Galician's "orujo".
These are around 35-40º (Good ones) but there are some a little stronger and "softer" ones from 15-20º.
I like the ones above 35º (more or less).

how does it make you feel? that seems contradictory to me, mixing a (")depressant(") like alcohol with a (")stimulant(") like coffee

Taken in small quantities It makes you feel well and more awake as the caffeinne kicks in and the alcohol do not kicks in enough to negate caffeinne effect and also adds the "heat inside" feeeling of a good strong licour (not know how to explain it better).
Also is perfect (for me) after a copious meal to help diggestion.
Obviously if you drink a whole bottle is the same as any other strong alcohol: you'll get drunk easily (but if the "orujo" of the licour is made is good - and the cofee also - the hangover is not too bad - as "not too bad" as a hangover could get.

you explained it very well, i understand what you say - it's funny because alcohol constricts the blood vessels but makes us feel warmer, weird xD
yes the quality of the ingredients is everything - i'm certain paying for the more expensive ones would be better all-around, since the cheaper ones are made with worse ingredients and thus harsher on your system.
very interesting for sure! i hope to maybe try it some day :) i think the closest thing i have had would be mixing Jägermeister with Red Bull and that... well that was just bad for everyone involved haha!

A bar for nerds has two of my favourite alcohols - one is a drink called "Mana Potion"(not sure about the exact ingredients) and another is a beer called "Golden Dragon".

It is blue, and they give it in a glass flask which looks like it's made for laboratories.
The beer is fucking great - pretty much everyone loves it.
The bar also has other drinks with nerd-themed, pun-filled names like "Ocarina of Lime", "Obi Wine Kenobi", Sex in the Batmobile", "Meister Chief"... most of them are pretty good.

...i'm an irishman that usually doesn't like to drink (much prefer a different intoxicant, though i've stopped indulging for now)...despite this, i think i would like to live in that bar.

knowing that Mana Potion is blue, it fills [me] with determination.
i imagine the beer has a sweet aftertaste but quite the edge going down(?)
...on second thought, if i went to that bar, i feel like i would have to be wheeled out; have to have a designated brain for to remember me all of the fantastical drinks i done drunk

The beer first hits you with sweetness, then with a slightly bitter aftertaste.... which turns again into a sweet one - hard to describe really. It is quite strong, though in my case it makes my kidneys and bladder hurt like shit before i actually manage to get drunk from it xD

whew, stout af. what's the old adage? "beer before liquor, never sicker; liquor before beer, you're in the clear"?

I don't toss back the whiskey all at once, so they're consumed simultaneously. ;-)

...buh...er...you mean slugga whiskey then slugga guinness? that's more manageable i guess, but to chase alcohol with alcohol... shivers just the thought of it makes me queasy xD
