You have to thank mousewithbeer for this game. She wants to try it so I thought I provide her with a chance to win it (well two chances to be correct, she can also win it for PAGYWOSG event).

are you really really sure she deserves this much?
just woke up, so i have doubts (and you should have mercy). i love this female-side of SG, i know is a trite thing... but i don't really care, at the moment.
yesterday i've sent one my precious <3 to another "sgifterette".
her answer was: "it looks like an ice cone to me".
i'm hella, hella glad you've joined this train. do you want an ice cone of mine? i have tons.
hope you're not still working, and that your sunday will be awesomely relaxing. and fun.

XD well she deserves a lot and I'm also just a good slave, ask mouse :P and she thanks me often enough, too.
I can see the ice cream cone with a bit of imagination, though I think I'm conditioned to see a heart.
I must be really too small and be easily overlooked XD I already put some carts in the train on the first day (carts 26.-32.). But I got paid yesterday so I thought I can put some more money in the train ;)
And I'm still working (or better said again). The woes of a 24/7 shift worker with rotating shifts (early, late and night shifts). will be working until Friday morning, then again starting Tuesday. Rinse and repeat.

ah ha.. not by me!
(this comment was kinda wall, but then i've reduced it to this tiny version)
huge respect for the precious time you're sharing with us (yes, yes, also fo' carts 26- 32... :P but, from personal experience, i feel you very very much)

Well luckily on the weekends work means mostly being at work, waiting for something (an emergency of some sort with one of our customers equipment) to happen. Which does not happen often. So it's mostly sitting around and waiting and killing time. Though during the week that is a different story altogether.

Ugh, that sounds awful. The constantly changing schedule sounds like a nightmare. Is your sleep schedule all messed up because you're constantly having to go to sleep at a different time?

Yes and no.
If you compare my sleep cycle to that of a normal person it is completely disrupted. But at least there is a system to the madness. We have a rythm of 2 early shifts 6am-2.30pm, 2 late shifts 2pm-10.30pm and then 2 night shifts 10pm-6.30am. Then we have 3 1/2 days of and start again with early shift and so on. This is repeated 7 times and then we have a month of day shifts from 8am-4.30pm (at least as long as we are not needed anywhere else, since people on day shift are the ones that replace people who are sick or on vacation) And then it starts all over again with the shift cycle.
So yes compared to a normal person the sleep cycle is completely fucked up, but for us in the shift cycle it is like our own rythm. It is so ingrained that when I was on vacation in August it took me a whole week to wean my body of this rythm.
Honestly I think it is far harder on your social life, since you are mostly working or preparing to go to work/bed, when all your friends go out in the evening or on the weekend.

Wow, I didn't think that's something you could get used to. I figured your body would want to go to sleep at the same time each day, and not adjust from day to day like that.
And I can see how that would be rough on your social life. Not that I'm one to talk, I haven't had a social life in years. Oh well, the sacrifices we make to live our lives.
