(Yes, I know the winner will never actually install this game, ever, and the only reason play time will be registered is because it has some decent cards. They do lead you to some interesting parts of the game that you wouldn't find out just by playing. That's the interesting part, the mystery. Tho something tells me this game is the opposite of that, just an annoying grind :D

No, it is pretty much the same war, but VC2 takes place a few years after it and deals with the aftermath using a bunch of new totally edgy and angsty kids, VC3 followed a group of soldiers from the enemy side of the conflict who never really interacted with the group of the first game, and this one will follow another group of soldiers from another faction who just happened to be involved in the war.
It is like as if you made a series about WWII and placed all of it in Finland, with each game following a totally different platoon and telling their part of the (local) conflict.
