I loved playing Dark Souls 1 and a great friend of mine got Dark Souls Remastered recently. If I do get it, I'd already have someone to play with, so that's great. Game's just too darned expensive for me right now, especially considering I already have the same game, just not Remastered... I might buy it if it's on a

The old one was on 75% discount regularly, but it took a while to get there. So if you wait long enough, this should be a less silly price... I wonder if any discounts will stack with the 50% discount for people who own the old version...

Unless they disable they do stack.
However it stacks in weird way as in (X+50)% instead of X% + 50%.
so something like 33% discount is ideal for 83% discount.
50%+50% would go to 100% which would cause it to be disabled from purchasing.

Hmm... Is there a way to make note of potential "probably a mistake" discounts lurking in the Steam store, before they happen? Like a list of games to check in the first hour of a big sale, before they get fixed/reduced/whatever? Just curious... :)

Sounds like a mixed bag on PC, but apparently the console version (i.e. without all the game-fixing mods) is worth it? I guess you have to back up your save game on pc so cheaters don't kill npcs or otherwise ruin everything? Probably a lot of fun...
