I think only a small percentage of the "visual novels" on Steam are from Japan, hmm, well let's think... Higurashi, Nekopara, World End Economica, Planetarian, probably several more but I'm too lazy to check everything. :) I keep buying this junk, so the publishers of the real stuff will get the hint... But it seems they don't... :(

This Sakura whatever game seems a bit of a joke so far, really. I tried it a bit more, and kept asking myself is this really the best they could do? :) Like I mentioned in the description, it really feels like they are phoning it in. :) But people keep buying them, so I guess they will keep churning out the games... :)

On the positive side, someone in the team knows English, which is helpful if you're writing in English... :) And they probably have someone look over the script, and click the spell-check button. :) You might think that's a pretty low bar, but compare it to Beach Bounce... :)

Hmm, in these games? Yes, I think there is a Sakura meat grinder, and no matter what ingredients the developers push through, it always comes out looking like this... :)
If you mean in these giveaways, it's more of a "discounted junk I didn't already own" theme. Got one for myself, thought I would give one away also. Pity I didn't buy something good, instead... :)
