Can anyone suggest 'any' kind of fiction, (novel, manga, movie, anime, game) in which the author creates an Original Universe (not derived from anything, just something wild, adventurous and amazing)?

I understand, I only meant something different, for example, a different setting, a city, place or world the author has created on his own, which has its own rules, strange workings (sci-fi etc.) etc. instead of having the story take place in a known location)
