Actually GRAND AGES: ROME GOLD
It appears you can enter this giveaway for what is an expansion pack (DLC) even if you don't own the base game. Don't worry about it, the key will include the base game too. Grand Ages: Rome
Please don't enter if you already own this expansion pack (DLC). Click the steam link if you want to confirm that. I don't like wasting everyone's time on rerolls.
The winner may have to accept my friend request on Steam for this game.

You need to change this to Grand Ages: Rome Gold! Who ever accepts this will not be able to complete the giveaway. If they can't complete it. You won't get your points. I know you probably did not want to do Grand Ages: Rome Gold as it gives no points. Still, could lead to trouble.

Rome Gold apparently gives Reign of Augustus so it's probably fine?

Could be but at the same time, could not be. If it's a deluxe type of thing. Steamgifts system may see Grand Ages: Rome Gold and not the DLC. Much like how I have several deluxe/gold/ultimate editions of games with the DLC but still get listings for DLC I can enter for.
Just giving a friendly warning to them. I get they are just trying to get points. I usually don't list games that don't give points. Those titles I usually toss in an orphan key drop. Still, if it goes bad. I could affect there account.
Though it is strange. I don't have Grand Ages: Rome, yet I see the DLC and can enter the giveaway. Usually you can't enter Givaways for games you don't own.

Yes, you can enter even if you don't own the base game.
The giveaway item is linked to a package which doesn't require the base game.
It's all good, my key includes the base game too.
I will be checking the winner to make sure they don't own the base game and the expansion pack (DLC).
Good luck!

I get that, but the listing might be the problem. Oh well, don't matter. I pointed that out. If there is a problem later. That's for you, them and the gms to take care of.

Doesn't look like it's been a problem for previous giveaways.
Not flagged by sgtools as not activated for winners.
Never shows in steam profile games list of anyone who owns it anyway. I have it, doesn't show.

That's cause it's not a DLC, it's just a game which requires the base game Grand Ages: Rome to play.
If that sounds stupid, that's because it is. But it's the same kind of text for VR games, you don't need a VR headset to buy, but you have to have one for some of them to be able to even play. It's even possible, though I don't know if this is true or not, that you might be able to redeem an individual expansion pass key without having the base game, unlike your standard DLC.
My guess is that anything marked DLC has something specific to it that SG checks for, but anything that just requires something else doesn't. It's the same reasoning for VR games, and it's also why this doesn't have the small purple DLC sash and presumably doesn't show up in the DLC section of SG.
