If I recall correctly, the two are different games in the Steam library. So as much as I'd find logical to not enter for the gold Edition if you have the Turbo (the Turbo is supposed to be an upgraded version of the Gold), I don't think I can actually prevent anyone to enter if he/she wants this one.

Yup, these are two separate products. I have this one and it's correctly detected by SG. Also there are legit reasons for entering this GA even while having the other, because Turbo doesn't have Mac and Linux versions.
Check the winner. I have the Turbo something Edition and can enter.
