If you want thoughtful replies other than copy pasted thanks, then you have to give people something to talk about. There are a lot of us who love making comments when given something to comment on, and who do not like spamming "thx" on every single giveaway, but the giver still needs to pose something for commenters to talk about. :)
And like Jokester said, you can't re-roll for saying thanks on a public giveaway.
