Instead of saying thanks, answer me this - do you have a favourite Metroidvania/search action platformer?

Up until a few years ago, my favorite was Toki Tori 2+. But it has since been eclipsed by Hollow Knight.

I didn't click with Hollow Knight when I tried it - the combat wasn't for me, and I know that the combat is a strong focus of the game. But I still really enjoy the aesthetics of it, it's a gorgeous looking game. I heard great things about Toki Tori 2 as well, I really ought to give it the old college try. :)

Toki Tori 2 manages to scratch that metroidvania itch while being all puzzles, no combat. If it's a genre you enjoy, but were turned away by HK's combat, then I can pretty highly recommend TT2. It's simple but charming!

I appreciate the elaboration. I do like myself some puzzle games, so I ought to give TT2 a try.

Like the other, my favorite is also Hollow Knight I loved the combat more than the platforming lol. I'm also a sucker for games that hide there lore similar to dark souls, I like getting invested into it.

Well... My favourite metroidvania is Symphony of the Night. Not the most exciting answer :^)
BUT!
Momodora: Moonlit Farewell and Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight are real close and are also really good.
Thanks for the game!
