Special edition is the re-release of the game, 64bit, looks a bit better out of the box (mods can still bring the original on top), and has less mod support as there's a fair ammount that's still only available for the original game, here's the store page link https://store.steampowered.com/app/72850/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim/
