Super Rad Raygun is an old school platformer/shooter, with plenty of silly 80's jokes and a lot of heart. It can be a bit unbalanced, but I definitely enjoyed my time with it.
Thank yous are always welcome, but if you'd like to answer a question instead: what's the first video game you remember playing?

Super Mario Bros 1

Pitfall. For a six-year-old, it was terrible and unbeatable.

Probably Jeopardy on my old DOS computer.

If it wasn't Super Mario Bros., it was Safari Hunt, OutRun, or Thunder Blade, since we got the NES and SEGA Master System at the same time.

For me, it was also Super Mario Bros., but I have a bit of a story to go with my answer: when I was little, I could beat every level in that game except 8-2. That particular level had a large gap, but you couldn't do a running jump because, right at the end of the platform, there's a pipe and two single-unit-wide blocks with single-unit-wide gaps between them. Try as I might, I could never jump over that gap; starting on the edge of the last block doesn't get you enough speed, starting on or before the pipe doesn't get you enough distance since you can't land on the rightmost block, and you can't jump low enough to start the jump from the left block, jump over the gap, and land on the right block to continue your run. Eventually, I asked my brother how to get past, at which point I saw him start from the block on the left, then run over the gap to get enough speed!
And that was the first time I encountered unintuitive B.S. level design in a game. How was I supposed to figure out that running fast enough would let you defy gravity and run over air? There aren't even that many single-unit-wide gaps in the game to let you practice!

If I remember correctly, Battle City on NES, great game.

Centipede on my aunt's Atari 2600. I thought the mini-comic that came with it was cool, too.

Super Mario 64 when I was 4 with my dad, though I can surprisingly remember quite a lot of the video games when I was really little - some of my biggest memories. Cheers!

Iconoclasts, please! I own Night in the Woods already. Those are both amazing giveaways, though. :D
