This game is EXCELLENT! The controls are tight and responsive, the art is gorgeous (both original and updated) and the music is fantastic! The Original and Remastered are the best, in my opinion. Personally, I prefer the original soundtrack, but that's just me. The ability to "mash up" music and art is great. You can do original art with updated music or vise versa. You have 3 different versions of an amazing soundtrack! The story of the game is phenomenal and full of twists and turns, order a truckload of tissues before playing...you'll need it! The ride of this emotional roller coaster of a game is INTENSE, and with 3 endings It doesn't get old quickly. To be honest after completing the game you might return even though you saw everything. It's just one of those games you keep coming back to for the same reason a book or a movie: a well made plot. It's a 10/10 alright!

You can also choose between the original Organya music, "Cave Story+" chiptune music, or a remastered soundtrack. I also love the ability to "mash up" music and art. So you can use the remastered art with the original music or vise versa.

The story of the game is phenomenal and full of twists and turns. You better have a truckload of tissues on hand before playing... you'll need then! This emotional roller coaster of a game is intense, and with three different endings, it doesn't get old quickly. Even after completing the game and seeing all three endings, you might find yourself returning to it for the same reason you might re-read a book or re-watch a movie: a well-made plot.

It's a 10 out of 10 game alright!
