Cool! This game has been on my wishlist since 2011! Why I love indie games? Because I love seeing new things, things that surprise me. And of course because I like my money to go to people that create stuff, not some middle man :)

I like having smaller experiences that don't feel quite as much of a commitment to finish. Not that I don't have free time, but more variety is always a good thing.

I love indie games because they usually take a lot more risks than AAA do, plus they're a lot less expensive. And have their content more concentrated into a smaller package, thus take a lot less time to complete, and also don't have a tendency to be bogged down with "GO HERE, DO THIS! NO THAT! OVER HERE!" that AAA sandbox games do. I've yet to have someone pester me for a round of bowling while playing Hotline Miami or Super Meat Boy. lol
Some folks might complain about the games being shorter, but for the same amount of money you can easily get twice as many entertainment hours per dollar out of indie games, especially if you keep up with bundles such as Indie Gala and Humble Bundle.
And I like supporting independent game devs, since I know that my money will be going to good people who'll use it to make good things, as opposed to some greedyass CEO who makes more dosh than the folks who created the game being sold. That's just all kinds of unfair. :/

Thank you! I like indie games because they usually have a lot more unique feel to them which is gone from a lot of AAA titles. :P

Indie games are less likely to have added DRM.

Thanks! Indie games are awesome because they aren't reliant on publishers and so they have less restrictions on their game. Which means no things like Day One DLC, forced DRM and having to release an unfinished game because they ran out of time.

I love indie games because they're the true vision of a small group of people. They can get their message through without a filter from a big publisher. Without that filter they can also make any type of game they would like.
And thanks for this giveaway!
