That is true, I do have some funds on my steam wallets after selling my CS2 cases. The only thing is the gifting region restriction. I can try it again after Winter sales starts.

Maybe buy some games in the Christmas sales on Fanatical/Humble/etc. I have picked up a few games that weren't currently bundled myself to gift to friends in the Black Friday sale, but I think that is over now or will be soon.
