I don't remember hearing anything about it so thanks for bringing it to my attention. I must say, it looks pretty good and the parts of the sountrack I listened to are also really nice.

I'm not into kickstarting, but I'll definitely look forward to its release on Steam.

took a look at the Kickstarter page, but as i already wait for more than one game from kickstarter and indiegogo i will sit this one out but probably buy it when it comes to steam.

Funny you should mention Hotel Dusk. I got that for my DS a while back and never finished it, though I did enjoy it quite a bit. I have backlogs everywhere. :D

I don't really play traditional VN's but I have played and loved the Phoenix Wright series. I wanted to play Hotel Dusk and 999 years ago but never got around to doing it...

Saya no Uta, my second VN! I originally thought "I'll just have a quick play before I sleep and see what it's like".
And then it was 6am and my brain was melting from the awesomeness.

Visual Novels are great because they don't require such an intense degree of technical skill to make, letting even a handful of artists and writers (or even just an individual) breathe extra life into a story idea. Shame I only saw this giveaway now, but I'll post it over in the never-bumped Crowdfunding Thread and see if we can push a few extra little backers over their way.
