Dead Space Trilogy was really great (if you put aside the EA's DLC policy : you must pay a DLC to have the end of Dead Space 3...)

My favorite horror game is Amnesia: the Dark Descent, but I've checked your steam profile and you already own it. So I would say Resident Evil 2 or Silent Hill 4. Resident Evil 7 demo is looking good too, but you never know until it's released.

I know it's a departure from the series, but I loved doom 3, but i'm pretty partial to system shock 2 as well.
