There's this fox I see on my way home from work as I take a shortcut through the woods, she's so beautiful and majestic. And I think she and her 2 little cubs have sort of accepted me, as one time she actually came up to my feet and allowed me to pet her once after it sniffed my hand. Now it doesn't run away, so long as I don't get too close. We just look at each other as I pass her by :)
They are really cute!
Yeaaah, I see you're from UK, I heard foxes all night when I went to visit a friend in London. Never actually saw them though.

Yeah, they're all around here, but I've ever actually only seen this one fox. They're very good at staying away from humans, as you might expect. I do feel incredibly lucky that she's accepted me, though. Even if I have a horrible day at work, I know I'm gonna have a smile on my face if I see her on my way home :)

You're only making them dependent on human hand-feeding instead of their natural ways.
At worst, your act may lead them to bit those who refuse to feed them.
Bjørneparken (bear park) is more like a sanctuary than a zoo, sadly their information is in norwegian only; but I think they are competent enough to make sure it's safe for visitors and foxes alike!
It was wonderful! This year has been a great experience with meeting animals; went walking with alpaccas in May, in June I had a bunch of Mangalitza pigs messing up my clothes because they were so cuddly, and now feeding a pellet to a fox. How do I even top this.
They're semi-wild foxes in a zoo here, all the animals over there have so large natural habitats. Well behaved foxes ;p
It was a birthday surprise from my wife, I didn't know I was in for a road trip to middle of Norway, getting first hand experience with them :D
No, that's one of the zoo keepers/biologists/tamers (with appropriate education, just in case someone get's all "THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR THE ANIMAAAALS" here :p), I wish I was that tall and good with foxes :')
