I hate the fact that you dont even get a discount for the definitive edition if you own the game and one or zero dlcs, I did not bought PoE 2 just out of displeasure for this.

I also can't stand that or, rather, how common that trend has become in the past half-decade or so. It seems as though every other publisher is being consumer-unfriendly with their dlc practices. And it isn't even as though Steam publishers can blame the system anymore, after Steam added <Bundles> in. It's gotten pretty silly, how many games I own that I "can't" play because of not owning all the content for them [that is to say, games which have additional gameplay content which affect substantial changes to the base game].
The worst offenders are definitely the GOTY/Definitive editions that cost less than buying expansions [not even with any minor dlcs factored in! Nor GOTY/definitives that release years later, but ones that release shortly after the expansions drop] after getting a base game. At that point, it just feels as though the publishers are actively giving a middle-finger to their consumers. Nevermind when they do that, and then only ever discount the GOTY and never the expansions on their own, just to highlight the discrepency in treatment. -.-;

A small FYI for those who picked up the Definitive Edition on Twitch Prime when it was free, but have the base game on Steam and prefer to play it there. It's possible to copy the missing data folders from the Twitch location to the Steam location - your Steam installation will recognize the extra material and handle achievements accordingly.

I really appreciate a chance at the DLCs, thank you. I was really hoping they were going to have a deep sale for the DLC by now but that hasn't been the case. I've been wanting to play Pillars of Eternity for a bit but was advised not to by a couple friends till I got the DLC.

Thanks so annoying the DLC cost more then the definitive edition. Age of wonder III, and this game piss me off, selling the definitive edition for less then the DLC. I'd totally buy the DLC discounted if it was less the the definitive edition discounted.
