Wavetale is an awesome game, I totally felt like a kid in a playground so much fun was it to travel through this world. This game is in my top 3 indie games of 2022 <3

The key might say "Beta" when activating it, but it really is the full game, got the key from the publisher.
Instead of a thank you, please leave behind your favorite indie game of 2022!

Seems like the first giveaway for this. And 2 copies, that's awesome. Wishlisted it when I saw it in a mailing list from the publisher.
As for favorite indie game released this year for me, probably Vacant Kingdom (although a bit biased since I helped beta test it). I loved the blend of hardcore bullet hell bosses with the more relaxing adventure exploration, and even some pretty tough puzzles. It's a really nice mix of gameplays that I personally all like.
In terms of favorite indie game I played in 2022, maybe that would go to Wandersong. Was a very wholesome and cozy experience throughout. Felt like a fun jrpg game, going from town to town, except with more puzzle platforming style gameplay and music mini game gameplay instead of rpg battles.

Thank you for mentioning your favorite indie games. I don't know much about Vacant kingdom but the art style looks good! Wandersong is in my library but I haven't had the time yet to play it. I love how it looks and heard amazing things about it.

Favourite indie game I played this year was Hellpoint.
I completed the game before dlc released, but will replay it again sometime next year with the dlc.
Very good souls-like action rpg.

It has to be NORCO for me. Beautiful art, great story. I recommend it to anyone who likes narrative games.

This looks fantastic, speed and mobility is my jam!
Favourite Indie game -
Omno came out in 2021, but played it this year, so play-wise it's this year's, release-wise it's not.
Norco was a runner-up for 2022 release, but it got quite...wild halfway through. Really interesting game, it just took two steps away from the otherwise perfect start, and that's two steps backwards to me.
So, it leaves Neon White. Still only halfway through as I ended up playing more story-oriented games in the past 1-1.5 months, but it has all the qualities to be a GOTY.

Those are some awesome titles! I only have played Omno out of those, great game!

Thank you :D I just played the demo a few days ago, it was super fun to fly and skate around! Some of my favourite indie games this year have been Terraria, Dinkum, Everhood and Cozy Grove :)

Thank you for sharing. I couldn't get into Cozy Grove, but it learned me I prefer games that you can play for a long time in one sitting, not gated by time.
I really hope Dinkum gets achievements in the future, it looks great and I've heard awesome things about it. The other two I own but never played yet.

I believe you can change the date on your device to go to the next day in Cozy Grove :) Yes I'd love if Dinkum got achievements! I think it will sometime soon when it's out of Early Access! It's basically Australian Animal Crossing haha :D

Thank you for sharing. I'm a bit shocked by the price of the DLC listed at the bottom.

Those DLCs are just a way to donate to the developer and aren't needed at all, the main game is the fun part.

🙄The game, which has been available for Android and on the web for quite some time, has recently received a Steam version. (The developer plans to close the web version and move to the Steam version.)
Free to play (charged stones are sometimes distributed at events).

This one is already too controversial and needs no explanation.
DLC has recently been added.
Thank you(*p'Θ'q)♪

Thank you for sharing. I never heard of Buriedbornes. VS I'm well aware of, such an addictive game. I have played it so much. I also enjoy "Nordic Ashes" in that genre, and this was released recently.

I totally agree with Vampire Survivors and Lil Gator Game! Such awesome games. Slime Rancher 2 looks soo good, but I'm waiting till it gets achievements. The first one was awesome and felt quite unique.

Oh boy.. look who it is. The one and only missiloon. 😜
My favorite indie game of 2022 is probably Cult of the Lamb, although I haven't played it yet.
Otherwise it's Vampire Survivors.. which I've played a lot.

Heej!
Thank you for sharing, it made my decision to play Cult of the Lamb before an upcoming top indies of 2022 list, and I think it will end up there, such an addictive and fun game. And yes Vampire Survivors is great, it is good to see it gets mentioned a lot on here.
