Yes I hate people who enter everything they see. Just to have as many games as possible even if they wont play it. There are more than we'd think... over 12k entries like come on. I shouldn't even bother entering.
Strictly by the odds your chances are still pretty good. So with the current 13k entries it's about 130 entries per copy, as opposed to the average 1000 and often more than 10k per copy for a well known AAA title. So, if you have a Vive, just enter. It's still sad that people enter for stuff they can't even play, though.
You should ask that the creator of the giveaway. However, considering it's almost 14k entries now, most of them probably don't have a Vive and don't plan on getting one (myself included, but I didn't enter the giveaway), it's probably safe to say, that, if you plan to get one, you already have an advantage over those those who just enter for stuff they can't even use and you should be allowed to enter. However, it's not my decision.
It is bad enough that the winner off one of my giveaways never claimed the prize and I waited a week and half and requested a new winner. I hope this dev does the same. I have access to a Vive. So if I win I can play. :)
