The avatar was the best looking that i can choose as i started with steam.

As long as Chariot doesn't win, I'll vote for your bro. It does seem odd though that you have ~244 likes after 1307 entries, and that's taking into consideration there are other individuals like myself that listened to competing entries.
Serious question though, was there a theme or original song that was given as the source material for the rules because there are some VERY copy+paste opening chords for some of these entries, cough The Orbiter, Chariot, Denial, Judas (I hear you, even with your slow version), So Cold, Quarter Pounder, Make Way_1, and uh, yeah basically every rock entry is a remix cough I'm not even an audiophile and I can clearly more than similarities, guess I should go look up the contest rules?
P.S. Messier-77 was a really good electronic entry. Feels familiar and heavily sampled from other music, but hey, isn't the entire genre? It gets a pass. Yes, I understand that's hypocritical but I hold my rock to a higher standard. :P

I took a look at the song topping the charts now. Chariot is from a Chicago based band with a big fanbase. They are a bit bigger than the band I'm representing. Its hard to compete against bands like that. And yes, most people entering didnt bother to vote or read. Thats ok, I expected that ;) But I'm happy with the results, I think were the only entry looking for votes in a gaming community.
Rules are simple. It must be a song which fits the theme: Wrecking cars. Uptempo, guitar, drums. Thats the only rule for the rock category. Genre doesnt matter. I've been listening to the competition as well and its pretty generic, neutral.
Must say it was hard to pick a song for this competition. We went with the most catchy and popular song from their repertoire. So it aint that original. If youre interested I can advice you to listen to Kill the Bees and Time Travel which I think are better songs but not for this competition.
