It lets me join this GA and I dont have "Untold stories" (at least steam lets me buy it without warning) - but I also have super old copy back from GFWL days and some reason it didnt seem to upgrade to gold.

Thats a tricky thing with SG. even if you have all the DLCs for a special steam bundle, it would let you join. Unfortunately it cannot sync that normally between the accounts.

At least for me it says "Buy Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Includes Untold Stories DLC"
There is no option to buy RE5 without Gold for me.
Even when I own the game and the DLC, I can also join this GA.

I think it depends on the fact when did this happen. Cause I have the game on my account since 2016, and back then I think I got only the base game... I mean if i open the DLCs page it gives me the option to buy...

Pretty dick move by Capcom. If you first give new people the DLC, then I think you should give the old also.
