Thank you very much for the giveaway! :D

I played Gal*Gun: Double Peace just 3 months ago (also won on SG) and it's a very cute and funny game. I'm sure the sequel will be good too.
I'll play the game as soon as I can. ^_^
(Might take me a month or two... My current planned immediate schedule is looking extremely busy.)

I hope you will enjoy it!!! I always appreciate when people who actually play their wins win in giveaways haha.

Thank you and simply enjoy the game whenever you have time for it. I'm struggling with my backlog myself with 7 days a week job. Lol

Have a good day!

All done. :D
(Took me long enough...)

The game is... uummm... ok, to be completely honest... not as good as Double Peace. Honestly, apart from the general premise and setting, it's completely different and often not in a good way. I blame it on the VR support this game so heavily caters to. :/
For starters, the fact that Gal*Gun 2 is tagged as an On-Rails Shooter on its Steam page feels like a blatant lie. The previous games were On-Rails Shooters, aka the character and camera auto move at a set path and pace so you have to be constantly paying attention to react to what's happening on-screen and search for hidden collectibles. This one is a first person shooter where you can freely look around but your character's feet are nailed to the ground and you can't move because otherwise people playing with VR would get motions sickness. So, instead of the level flowing smoothly from start to finish, here is how every level in this game goes- you're at a location, enemies attack you in a way scripted to that location, after beating them all a silhouette of your character appears somewhere in view, you shoot that to "move" (teleport) to that location via a quick fade-to-black, repeat until level is done. It is super awkward and massively kills the pace.
Characters are generally nice and the premise is still very ridiculous to the point of being funny, but the story feels really forced compared to Double Peace. As in, the story there actually had stakes for the protagonist (and he actually had a personality). Here I'm pretty sure that the player character (who is so bland that they didn't even give him a name) could do absolutely nothing and the only consequence would be Risu (the angel girl) getting fired.
Feels like there's a lot... less of the game in general compared to Double Peace- less story, less variety, basically no hidden collectibles or other reasons to replay levels. I guess too much of the budged went into the VR support and making a physics engine so you can make a small mess with the few objects you can affect with the vacuum-cleaner-like gun this game gives you.

I think I'll stop there... I really don't like criticizing games like this... :/
Overall, it's an ok game probably. It just really wasn't what I was looking for (more like Double Peace) and I dunno, I might have been in a bad mood or something.
If you ever decide to check the series out, I'd highly recommend checking out Gal*Gun: Double Peace! ^_^

And, um, again, thank you very much for the giveaway! :D

Wooah, I think its the first time someone wrote about their experience with game they won :) I never played any of gal gun games even though when I saw them in bundles I was like hey that's kinda cute but too much for me now! And my backlog is big enough. Lol.

Its okay that you didn't really... enjoy it, your review actually made me go look at the games again. I kinda need something that could help me unwind from the amount of work I'm dealing with. Its morning right now for me and I was working all night straight jesus. I think I'd relax only by shooting at anime girls and making them obsessed with me. Ohh boy.

I'm really glad someone who plays their wins and enjoys them won my gib!!!

Actually you're shooting anime girls to keep them away from you. Each game's protagonist gets afflicted with something at the start that makes him "super popular with the girls". Too popular, lol. XD

If you wanna gift to more people who play their wins, may I suggest checking out Playing Matter? It's a group for... well, people who play their wins. ^_^'
(Playing Appreciated is also a... less consistent... alternative, though it looks like the group is closed for applications at the moment.)
