Don't you just hate it when a game is being removed from Steam? Me too.
There's a final sale (90% off) going for WINDSHIFT before it's removed on 26.05.
And why do I care since I bought WINDSHIFT and haven't even played yet? Well, I loved Stella Glow on 3DS and the character design reminds me of it a lot.
Here's 3 copies which will be gifted on the e-mail assigned to the SteamGifts account - if it's no longer used or whatever, just add me on Steam and I'll give the game directly.
I guess if someone's interested in playing, they'll buy it (cheap as dirt during the final sale) and this giveaway is basically to make the game a bit more known to the SG community. Hence, I won't require that the winner absolutely plays the game but since it won't be sold anymore, it would certainly be appreciated (as if I had the time to check it but yeah :D) :)

I'm always triggered when I see "good luck to everyone" :D Because that wish won't matter at all.
I mean, it's the same as if one said "bad luck to everyone" - the chances would still remain exactly the same ;)
I think this deserves a discussion topic with a train at some point so people can vote or sth. I just need some good games for it :D

I like to say "GL" regardless if it helps or not, just a nice thing to say.
If someone lets you thru a door or he hold a door for you, you say THANK YOU, do you really mean it? probably not, but its something we humans do. Same as merry christmas, happy new year, have a nice day and the list goes on.

The thing is, saying "good luck" to a specific person is nice (I do that too ofc) but saying it to all people entering the giveaway is totally pointless. That's why wishing people entering the giveaway "bad luck to all" would be exactly the same.
Mind you, I'm aware of the fact that it doesn't need to hold any magical power whether it's for specific people or all :D It's just a fun logical thing to consider for me ;)
Anyway, if I say thank you to a person holding the door, I also do mean it, although of course I'm not overwhelmed with gratitude - it's just a tiny favour to hold it (scratch that... Hodor).
If one was saying "merry christmas" etc. to people out of pure courtesy and wasn't really meaning it, it would be kinda sad though.

I activated e-mail notifications from Steam. Without them I'd miss out on buying this game as well. Especially that I added looots of OSTs to my wishlist and it's... like... enormous (1k+ items).

Don't know. And the devs aren't exactly fluent in English so we probably won't see a meaningful comment in the update section.
They only request people telling how much they love the game.

From what I gathered from a comment in Discussions, one of the (former?) members of the dev team created half of the game, and is no longer working on it. So it isn't as polished as the remaining devs would like, so rather than have a "lame duck" kind of game, they're just going to remove it.
It does looks like they're making a new Windshift game that releases in about 4 weeks.

I can't be the only one that would prefer a mention in the store "sorry, this game's not 100% polished but we can't fix it anymore so here's a permanent price drop and be aware, there'll be some bugs etc." but have the game still available in the stores.
The same goes for DriveClub. Why couldn't Sony leave the game in the PS Store as a DriveClub Offline Edition with constant 75% off the price? There are many people that would love to buy it and its DLCs but now need to console-share the consoles and such to be able to enjoy DLCs.
Same goes for other things like Flash. I'd love to click and confirm 5x that I'm fully aware of the possible security holes and such and that I'll be fully responsible for anything that might happen to my computer but be still able to use sites like Bombay TV. But no, "screw you", says Adobe.

After a few not-really-in-English comments they finally wrote an update that finally confirmed it being removed after "the last sale".
Who knows, maybe we'll learn a reason in several days as well :)

Thanks to this giveaway (and your comment), I bought the game. I also bought the soundtrack, as that may be leaving the Steam store as well (although they didn't make any mention of it on the soundtrack's store page).
If you hadn't made this giveaway, I would never have heard of the game in time, and I wouldn't have been able to buy it.
