But changing a bot to also check links to steamgifts in a GAs- description would be pretty easy.
Mangling the links a bit or use of tiny-url like stuff might prevent this if the botwriter does not want to follow every link it encounters in a description ^^.

Public ones are the worst. Most don't read, sadly enough. Although there is always a small margin of people who already own the hidden game.
But for me it's always a nice surprise if you discover it.
