Looks like it wasn't a game at the end, but crashing simulator :/ Went to give it a try over weekend and game refuse start at any compatibility mode, offline from files, even tried to set game to deutch. I guess these negative reviews were well deserved, I am not even able to make it run long enough to be able write review.
Guess it has to be my first won't play win on BLAEO.

I'm sorry to hear that, to be honest I rarely check what the heck I'm giving away so I only have myself to blame for gifting a game that's non-functional.
Out of curiosity I just installed it and tried running it and it didn't crash for me, or at least I got through the first mission of the tutorial without any technical issue. But the thing is that I'm currently using a desktop PC that's kinda period-accurate to when the game was released and I'm still running Windows 7 on this thing, I'll probably try the game with my much more recent laptop later today to see if it's that unstable on Windows 10 or if there's a workaround. I know how annoying and unhelpful it is to hear "it works for me" as a response, but there's little else I can do right now.
Other that attempting (poorly) to play the part of technical support the only other thing I could really offer you is trying to go through support and getting the giveaway deleted, that way you'd be able to delete the game from your account without any repercussion and avoid leaving it as not-played.

Nah, it isn't fault of creator, I believe it should be duty of publishers/developers to make game playable when it can be purchased. Just wanted to let you know I gave a shot to game and not see as ungrateful person who won't touch it. I have newest windows, but my older should be able to reach via compatibility. But at least I have now a shortcut to set my coolings on max :D

Oh, I don't actually mind if the winners play the games or not, I've always been a believer that once a gift is accepted it's the recipient's choice to do with them as they see fit. So don't worry about that :)

And in regards to the game in question itself, I suspect that the developers haven't touched it in a long time since the newest OS listed on the store page as supported is Windows 7, so sadly at this point is probably up to us players to figure out how to run it. It'd be nice if Valve had offered some sort of long-term solution to continue running Steam in older OS's, lots of old games that refuse to work on anything newer than whatever they were originally designed for. But I guess there's always the option to go with Proton on Linux, they're getting some remarkable results on reviving old games by running them on different configurations of the Wine compatibility layer... I actually remember once having a conversation with a friend that was much more involved on following the news about Linux and GNU development about how some people were considering porting Wine to Windows itself for the sake of getting old programs to run properly, which sounded ridiculous at first but makes a lot of sense in context. I wonder what happened with that, it was like 6 years ago.
Oops, sorry, I ended up rambling.
