I prefer spring and autumn the most. Spring for the nature waking up. Autumn for its colors and smell. ;) Also its not sooo hot in spring or autumn. X)
But I like winter too, the snow and frost!

I totally agree with that! What I love the most about winter is how everything looks when it's covered in snow, it's so beautiful. Also winter seems to be a much quieter season, really peaceful :) And I do like the sun in the summer, but I feel like my body and mind don't work when it's too hot, so I can't enjoy that too much :D

Yes, the winter scenery is magical! I very much enjoy watching the sleeping nature hidden by snow. ;)
Well, in the summer I can only accept combination: sun + water, otherwise I dry up. XD
my favourite seasons actually are chosen/depend from where I was born and where I live - namely, Northern Italy.. we have extremely harsh winters (I live on the hills and near the mountains, of course if you're in Milan or in the Po plain it's quite hotter xD) so I don't like winter that much 'cos the snow and ice always create so much problems.. when I went to the university in Bologna, trains, streets, buses etc. were all closed 3 days per week.. I had to wake up at 3 AM only to clear the street (mine is short, but pretty narrow and they clear it rarely..)..
Summer on the other side isn't really exciting here. It's awesome to see the mountains, the cities all empty since everyone goes on vacation while I love staying here, but it's too hot - mainly because we're an enormous valley and of course I can't stay on the hills or in the mountains all summer long, even 'cos in the mountains there's not even Internet.. I mean, Alps and Appennines. So you've got to go in the plains where all the cities are located - Milan, Turin, Bologna, Parma, Brescia, Verona, the Garda lake and so on. And it's really hot in summer!
Definitely Spring and Autumn are the best seasons to live in Northern Italy, and take into account though that Spring goes on until July for what concerns temperatures while summer lasts only until the end of August - after that we start to get low temperatures luckily, but bearable and awesome!

Oh, I feel you on that public transport struggle. That cost me a lot of patience back when I had to commute a lot. For me it's not as bad as it seems to be for you, but somehow it feels like every time just the tiniest bit of snow falls here, the trains all suddenly lose their ability to function correctly. And every single year, when it starts to snow, they seem completely taken by surprise by it :D

Autumn and Spring, as long as the temperatures are in the norms for the season. I like being able to go out for a walk or anything without either having to wear 5 layers of clothing, or dying of the heat :3
Autumn has a mix of something playful and something quiet and peaceful about it I think. I still remember collecting lots of bright red leaves, chestnuts, acorns and stuff as a kid and making things out of it. But at the same time autumn prepares you for the quiet winter to come :)
