I've got one this week; lucky me I won an inheritance from someone I never heard about and I will get loads of money after I use Western Union to give them money to settle my inheritance and then get those loads of money. :X
These are not really new fraud schemes, but people do fall for them if they are either too stupid or greedy. What's worth mentioning is that I have been receiving lots of such emails recently and all are sent to a disposable email address I use to sign up for free game keys. Perhaps I could eventually track down who leaked the personal information if I assign a separate email address for each free key site I sigh up :X
I have a somewhat generic domain name and I put a *@[...] catch-all inbox on it. I get misaddressed e-mails daily. People have sent actual money transfers, amounting to thousands of dollars, to me by mistake. No, I didn't cash them. I am cursed with a rock solid conscience.
