Trains don't go backwards | BUMP | Full choo choo

Never got into Digimon myself but should be an alright game for the fans (of the genre too?).

I can confirm that it is a good game even if you only like the monster collecting genre and not into digimon.

This work is not sold for Japan, so perhaps Japanese participants may not be able to receive it.
(despite the fact that it is a Japanese game)🙄

Thanks for the opportunity to the SG Community.

Bigger publishers really hate getting that money, don't they? Should I move giving only indie games to be certain?

They have long been engaged in squeezing higher prices out of Japanese consumers....
Although this kind of behavior has been decreasing recently...
They even remove the language of games that have their own language and sell them on Steam....

I can only hope that things will change for the better in the future.(ノΘ`)

Hopefully. In recent years, things have been going worse in gaming publishing with all the region restrictions and platform separation. Some good news like EA coming back to Steam and so on, though.

Japanese games have been charging more for everyone. All the new titles virtually ignore regional pricing, see any of their steam forums for tons of complaints.

I think most of the times the JP games not being given away in JP is since the local publisher and global publisher are different, so it's a money thing.

ヾノ'Θ'o)…I know it's a sketchy, hazy story.
Namco Bandai-related content is generally in-house content.
The Digimon series is often co-created by Shogakukan, Sony, and Bandai Namco.

It seems that many of the Steam versions of games that have PlayStation versions at Bandai Namco have not been released in Japan.

Recently, things like "Dragon Ball" have also lifted that situation.
(It was a much-criticized practice.)

However, for this game, there is some speculation that the PS and Steam versions were scheduled to be released at the same time, but the Steam version was delayed so much that it was removed from such unlocking support.

Well, it is good to move in the direction of less bad things.
If only progress could be made a little faster....🤔

It is really a helpless story.
The PS version is of course in Japanese; the PC version seems to be sold with the Japanese language removed from the UI.

Oh, did I mention that the date has been incremented since the cake disappeared?
In any case, let's say the counter is broken.😁

Oh, awesome!!! My friend and I have an arrangement where we take turns choosing a show to watch together, and he just finished showing me Digimon Adventures, which was truly excellent for a kids' show. We juuuust started Digimon Tamers, which so far seems to be even better.

He was trying to get me to get this game, too, so winning it now would be a spectacular coincidence if it happens. :D

That would be a coincidence but a pleasant one. :) Good luck in your Digimon journey.

Bugger. :/ Thanks for the info! Hard to avoid region restrictions these days, even when using bigger stores.
