Really. I have never seen this done by mistake by new regs. Lavostrog already has GTA 5 so he/she has not mistaken giving for getting. And yes, i'm like that. I see a fresh acc giving away one of the most demanded games, i blacklist him/her and check back later. If by some miracle the key was delivered (seen it once since i'm here +1 pending), that is a whitelist move.

Plus if the GA gets deleted by SG staff you cannot blacklist the creator any more.

You can always blacklist someone... Even when they have 0 created ga.

But as many times stated, you're free to use BL as you like.

Well, i did not. I did not see people whou honestly thought their GA is a call for a game to be gifted to them by the lucky winner of the thousands of willing people nor ones who thought they can pass on activated games on Steam. And if anyone honestly thinks that and fail to check FAQs or test the theory they are at a level of stupid (or extremely young age) where they should stay away from internet because they are being a threat to themselves and their family.

I saw way too many times ppl locked in train of thought unable to see outside it without outside help.

He'll to some degree it happends to me.

When you interact with someone,or least try to explain them what you think , only then you see how hilariously stupid it can be ;)

So i try not to judge ppl that do really stupid things. Makes my own life bit better i think. Better to ignore than judge negatively imo.

Out of curiosity, how often do you end up un-blacklisting the user? I doubt it's terribly frequent: I see tons of cancelled giveaways for things like this

It just happened last week or so with a Doom GA. It was very movielike story: he delivered the key (it was from some hardver voucher), but it was bad, he got a replacement from the company for the winner. That was a double whitelist move for sure. :)

Before that... none i think. But i'm doing this only since it became a troll 101 move to do a fake GTA5 GA.

Just in case...

OP, when you make a giveaway, you actually have to give that game to the winner. That means you must own a gift, gift link, or key for this game that you will give to the person who wins. I know you may know this, but I bring it up to keep you from getting in trouble as it has happened several times to new people, and you are newly registered.

If you do not have a way to give this game to anyone, it is best to delete this giveaway.
