According to some of the reviews, the game doesn't launch in Win8 and higher (as is basically also mentioned in the System requirements of the game with that only ME/XP are supported). In my case with Win10 it didn't launch initially, tho launched with work-around mentioned on the game forum. That work-around involves downloading .exe file for the game from some file-sharing site tho, so far from ideal in regard to system security concerns.

My recommendation therefore is to not care for this game if you are not running OS below Win8, unless you just want it as a +1 for library without intent to play it on Win8 and higher of course, or unless you have quite some trust in anti-malware software you are using (if you are using) as to catch eventual case of malware if you would go for that mentioned work-around to the launch issue on Win8 and higher.
