Really? I've read that a lot of people didn't like the changes, like removal of some class(es), that were made to the actual gameplay with the Final Cut. Didn't know you can't transfer your char between the originals, kind of weird. I'm probably just going to play the first two, anyway, because I've also heard the third is terrible, and the reviews trend downward if you compare IAoVH I, II, and III.

But that has nothing to do with the issue, not a single game (and i have a wide variety) had any similar issue, but this is a bug that was never fixed, you can read in forums about it.
