He just joined a day ago. kinda fishy. his steam profile also has no comment, 7 games, only 1 friend.
i think ill stay away from this.

Hey, less people that don't enter increase the odds.

Please do, better odds for the rest of us.
But please keep your ignorant fingers of the "report" button! This giveaway was already deleted one time due to detectives like yourself. Check his inventory Sherlock...

wow it's things like this that make me really dislike people more and more... oh no someone joined a day ago, has a few friends and wants to give a game away! THE HORROR!
I understand being skeptical but really...

Hitting 'report' doesn't automatically remove a giveaway. A mod must have decided it looked suspicious.
Comment has been collapsed.
That goes without saying, but obviously the mods didn't investigate it properly before deleting it last time... It was deleted after I saw the game in the users inventory.

Hell yeah! Let's shit on another generous person because paranoid douche bags can't stop worrying about their precious points long enough to check an inventory...
Comment has been collapsed.
you mean i may be waisting my points on something i won't win? like that hasn't happed over 100 time to me already :P
also thanks for the giveaway friend

The fact that a people have to prove their intentions when they want to give a high valued game
is depressing... Remember, you got your points for free, and you have a chance to win a game
for free... I think you know what I'm getting at.
Comment has been collapsed.
That doesn't mean points have no value. It takes time for them to build up.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh really? How exactly would you assess their value? Material and work force costs? Or perhaps market value?

At least its in his inventory. Obviously most people are going to be very very skeptical of a 1 day user with no history posting a high point game for no reason. In literally 99.99999% of such cases they were either mistakes by the user or just plain stupidity.
In any case many thanks for the giveaway.

Yea, I contacted the support after your giveaway was deleted. Apparently a lot of trigger-happy users on some sort of pathetic misguided internet-power trip reported the giveaway without actually looking at your profile/inventory.
What a way to welcome a new user. Only a class act would actually try to create another giveaway, no doubt I would have found another way to spread my generosity. Thanks and welcome back.

It seems to be something natural here. I've been on this site for only one week and have seen people bashing new users who create giveaway worth more than 5-10 points without reason -- only today I've seen three such instances, and it happened to me as well when I created my first giveaway after less than 24 hours of registering and (OMG, imagine this) I didn't have my game inventory public... It's not a very welcoming environment for new users... but alas, the world is a screwed up place :) Thanks for the giveaway, ThuggyFresh!

It's just that a lot of those users actually are creating fake giveaways, not understanding how the site works, which means we (the legit users) gotta filter through those fake giveaways to keep enough points available for the legit giveaways we're interested into.
That is why I'd generally recommend including some proof with more expensive giveways.

The problem isn't that some retarded users reported him, there are idiots everywhere, the problem is that someone in the moderation team deleted it without doing their homework.

The problem of entire internet - Idiotic M0derators.

Yes, because with all the dozens, if not more, of support tickets opened every day plus the reported fake giveaways, it's not possible for a mod to ever make a mistake. After all, it's not like they're human or anything.
Comment has been collapsed.
As someone with experience in the moderator seat I can tell you people make mistakes, mods too.
I can also tell you looking at the person's goddamn inventory is, kinda the minimum acceptable effort one should put into it before deleting someone's giveaway... Would be like a forum mod deleting your post because it was reported before even reading the damn thing.
Comment has been collapsed.
Would that mean I don't get a refund on the points I spent on his giveaway the other day?
Comment has been collapsed.
No, any time a mod deletes a giveaway you joined for whatever the reason you get your points back.
