They really must be bots or ninjas, I tried to activate the key as soon as I can but it seems I am not as fast as them. No worries, maybe I will be luckier next time. Thanks again!

Do you have a suggestion as how I could give it away in the future that is safer? Maybe friend adding on steam?
Yeah, the steam friends method should definitely be the safer method, but the most time consuming for you the giver.
Thanks again for being so kind to the community and to me personally. If our society had more people like you, it would have been a better place :)
Looking into reporting the key as dupe on Fanatical as suggested by someone on the threads. Will see if I get a new key and if they can deactivate the previous one somehow.
Will let you know if I end up getting a new one, as if I do you can have it.
I didn't know that Fanatical and the other eshops can offer this option. But there is no need to go that far just for me and spend more of your time and effort. Although I couldn't get the game, you already made my day because you made me see again that there are still good people in the world :)
