On Steam, the minimum requirements reads in part as such:
"Processor: Intel Core I5 / AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+"
I find that kind of weird. Like the oldest mobile i5 is considerably newer than the Athlon 64 X2 4800+, and faster. And that's like the weakest i5. So how is that a good minimum system requirements description? If you have a recent i3, it more than meets the requirements, because it beats the snot out of the Athlon 64 X2 4800+, but you'd probably see that "Intel Core I5" part and be like "OH NO THIS GAME NEEDS MOAR GIGAHERPS THAN MY COMPUTER HAS" and it's just not true.
Anyway, uh. Cool.

Probaly means 1 gen I5, course an I3 4 gen or an Amd apu 7000+ would be more than enough, any 4 core above 3.2 ghz processor can run most of the games, the thing is, your gpu can keep it up?

i5 is slapped around quite a bit as minimum, but yeah, people forget there's a few of 'em.
Cheers!

Heck, my Core 2 Duo, as long in the tooth as it is, can run Wolfenstein: The New Order, in a pinch...
Thanks, giftasaurus!
