thanks for the giveaway! just want to let you know that you shouldn't use gift link. there have been instances of account being banned by hb from those.

Oh thanks, I didn't know that! Is the gift through email option better then? I've not given away spare humble games before, and only saw that they don't provide giftable keys.

I would click the gift link to check for any region locks then go back and just reveal the key as if you were claiming it yourself, and just paste the key as normal. 👍

I believe both will cause the same issue. The safest option so far is to reveal the key yourself and send the key to the winner just like what sariaaa said. Just make sure you take note of the region restriction beforehand.

That's good to know, thanks again. Unfortunately for this one I have already generated the gift link to see how it works, and it doesn't look I can change it back to just show the key. I will definitely bear it mind for the future though and hope I won't get humble-banned this time.

id also add be wary of asking HB for replacement keys as they may flag you for that aswell

No problem! Fyi, you can always claim the gift link yourself (with the same account) and reveal the key. I did it once before.
