Mini-Review: A game I have actually played some of, in my quest to play everything on Steam before the year 3000. Difficult, meticulous, and probably not getting far without taking some notes (that isn't cheating... right?) on this choose-your-own adventure with a bit of stat building strategy involved as well to open certain story arcs through learning of said skills to "pass go", all of which I never completed. Just got a bad ending or two, and it was rough just to get that. Outfits add different other bonus stuff too to make learning a bit easier.
I found it a very good game overall though, as far as what it offers. It definitely delivers. The review-age is right on the mark with this one I think. Highly recommend playing! Afterall, I know about princesses and maidens and whatnot from experience. I had this green dress I wore in my youth... Oh I shouldn't go on and on about those days of yesteryear gone by. I have taken on too much pasta to continue to wear them, unfortunately.

Note-take isn't cheating... it used to be the standard way of playing games back in my day! adjusts onion on belt
Thanks for the review, my dear Emerald one

Agreed!
cue the flashback
Back when I was you're age... note taking was seen as a necessity, especially in the old Ultima games. We didn't have Internet guides and fancy walk through videos. Nope, we got together with friends (you know, face to face) and discussed the game and compared notes.

Yep... Step 1 was to get graph paper, a sharpened pencil and a nice fat eraser.
Ultima,Wizardry, Zelda... I wish I still had my own hand-made maps from those days!
Also for the olds: code wheels and writing down passwords.
