A lot of people say this as a knee-jerk reaction, but more often than not it's wrong/inaccurate. The gift part of his inventory is hidden (set as private), so drawing trying to draw any conclusion about that is folly.

Well, he doesn't have many games in his library. He has like 5 games which aren't free and the only one i even know is Dungeon Defenders so this is most likely a bad giveaway. Im still risking it though and the only thing to do is not to mark it as recieved if he doesn't give the game.

I'm not saying that it isn't questionable... but I see people comment about the person's inventory all the time as if they know what they are talking about when it isn't even set to be visible.

I agree about that, but he doesn't have it in his game library either. One could argue that he might not like this genre of game, but since he doesn't have many games he could always buy games for himself rather than for others, this game alone is worth more then his entire inventory

They may not have to have it when they make the giveaway, but it's a red flag. And the others are right, that game is worth more then his entire library. It's either a fake or a really good first giver.
